The District Cooperative Central Bank Limited Medak (DCCB Medak), with its Head Office located at Sangareddy, was established on 05-11-1957 and is affiliated with the Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd., Hyderabad(TGCAB). Since its inception, the Bank has been playing a vital role in strengthening the cooperative credit structure and supporting the socio-economic development of the region. It is one of the pioneering
cooperative banking institutions in the State of Telangana, committed to meeting the agricultural and rural credit requirements of the farming community in Medak District.
The Bank has consistently contributed towards agricultural growth by extending timely and adequate crop loans, medium-term loans, and other financial assistance to farmers, self-help groups, rural artisans, and allied agricultural activities. Through its customer-
centric approach, the Bank has been instrumental in promoting financial inclusion and rural prosperity.
In line with the changing banking environment and technological advancements, the Bank has successfully implemented Core Banking Solutions (CBS) across all its branches. The introduction of CBS has enabled seamless, centralized, and real-time banking operations, thereby improving service efficiency, transparency, and customer convenience. Customers can now avail banking services from any branch connected under the CBS network.
Further, the Bank has introduced various digital and electronic payment channels such as RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement), NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer), CTS (Cheque Truncation System), Immediate Payment System(IMPS) through Mobile
Banking app, UPI and DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). These facilities have significantly benefited both urban and rural customers by ensuring safe, quick, and hassle-free transfer of funds, timely receipt of government subsidies, welfare benefits, and other financial
transactions.
To enhance customer accessibility and provide round-the-clock banking services, the Bank has established a network of 42 ATMs, comprising 39 fixed ATMs and 3 Mobile Van ATM. The Mobile Van ATM especially serves remote and underserved rural areas, extending convenient banking access to customers who may otherwise face difficulties in reaching branch locations.
